So let me see... if the Russians won't extradite someone to stand trial in the UK because he might not get a fair trial we expel some of their diplomats, yet if the Americans ask for some of our citizens to be extradited to be tried and given a less than fair trial because they are accused of being a terrorist we roll over and let them do what they want.
As far as I'm concerned we should be trying to build stronger links with the Russians and not dancing to the tune that the Americans have been calling for so long, after all who can turn off our gas faster?
