It's not everyday that you receive an unwanted email that starts with the arresting words "Privet My Gentleman" so I was intrigued enough to read on assuming that this was from some kind of internet garden centre who were going to be offering indestructible plants that would actually thrive in the harsh conditions of the kitchen windowsill.
Well wasn't I in for a surprise, it turned out it was from my wannabe new best friend Olga who is 22, blonde and owns an older sister and a rabbit and speaks a little English and German which I for one would imagine is a major drawback for someone living in Kozelsk. Unfortunately I'm sure that she'll no doubt find someone stupid enough to believe that she wants a British husband for something other than the right to remain in the UK and claim benefits....
