Happy Chocolate Egg Day!

I've just consulted that essential source of knowledge Old Squeaky's Almanac and discovered that it is indeed chocolate egg (or bunny) day. Apparently this is a custom started by an ancient tribe of chocolatiers in Birmingham in order to increase sales of that brown, waxy and ultimately unsatisfying confection that they call Milk Chocolate. The almanac then continues that if the chocolate content of this product was any lower it would have to be reclassified as furniture polish, at least according to EEC regulations.

The almanac also goes on to say that this custom of giving choccy eggs to people is in no way related to the christian festival of easter, which is all about the suppression of religion and morality by occupying forces - should be a popular festival in Iraq then...
