One Hundred Not Out!

No you foolish unbelievers - The Eye has not suddenly become a fan of cricket - although there is something about any sport that involves bats...This is the 100th posting on the blog. What has it achieved O Lord? I hear the mass hordes of worshippers chanting outside the Castle of Darkness. Well for a start I feel a lot better about a lot of things - helps to get it off the chest as it were.
This does not mean, however, that I am mellowing with the centenary edition, Oh no indeed I am still extremely frustrated by the idiots that are unable to think for themselves and who believe whatever lies they are fed by government and corporate propaganda. The trouble is that once you start to believe the little lies like "Our fast-food products are nutritious and wholesome" and "There are weapons of mass distruction in Iraq" then it's easier to believe the bigger lies such as "freedom of speech" and "democracy"
I am still extremely intolerent of people who endlessly protest their rights to behave however they wish without exercising the responsibilities to not affect others that go with their freedoms.
Some while ago I mentioned the idea of sponsorship and I am saddened to report that no-one has taken up my generous offer to be the official face of absinthe in the UK, however I think that it is now time to launch a range of DarkAdaptedEye merchandise - a small but beautifully crafted suprise item for the best suggestion....
