I'm just back from hitching a ride with the Starship Hawkwind and I only have one complaint for the Captain - the trip wasn't long enough - mind you if they played for three days and nights solid it wouldn't be long enough with their extensive back catalogue which contains so much stuff that I'd love to hear live...if anyone out there is at their radio telescope listening my votes (in reverse order) go to PXR5, Free Fall and Children of the Sun (and seven by seven as a reserve)
It was also quite nice to return from a gig where I've been smiling to myself all the way through because of some of the really good memories that the music brought back...and without resort to any psychedelics either AND get home not smelling like I smoke 20 a day into the bargain.
