Social Networking

Full of the joys of summer I foolishly decided to go trawling through some of the stuff on the internet - after all good ol' Russell Grant said it was a good day for meeting new people, so stopping only to read the entrails of a freshly slaughtered goat to make sure that the oracle was not telling me lies I came first to MySpace - there I discovered any number of people who are not up to the job of being my new best friend.
For example there's a woman whose hobby is collecting pigs, she's taken the time to point out that they're not real ones, which is thoughtful as I might have decided to send a couple of Tamworths and a Gloucester old spot for her growing herd if she'd been the sort of person I wouldn't mind meeting on a dark night, then of course there's the guy referred to yesterday (Mister Giant Slipknot tattoo) who not surprisingly lists being a slipknot fan as one of his major preoccupations - although I would have thought an bilateral ear transplant would have a greater priority in his life...so basically either Russell is very wrong or I'm so cynical that astrobabble won't work on me...
