Coulrophobia

As I've said before and I'll say again Clowns are seriously not funny, not by a long way. They are deeply deeply disturbing and frightening and needless to say they should be banned or sent to somewhere that would be suitable for their talents - the inside of Mount Hekla or as a target in the Large Hadron Collider at CERN (mind you I suspect that clowns are the proof that stable strange matter* can and does exist.)
I mean why on earth do they seem to believe that they are entertaining? Where is the evidence that they are more funny than, for example, having your grandmother hit by lightning whilst sat on the privy? More to the point why are they not prohibited by international treaty?
By the way, in case you hadn't already guessed I really don't like clowns.
