Nowadays there seems to be a specialist magazine for everything and everybody, just go into Smiths or Borders and have a browse through the racks and you'll see what I mean, and I don't really believe that some of them even have that great a circulation. There I was looking for this month's copy of Terroriser when amidst all the usual suspects - Amateur Fishmonger, What Thermonuclear Device? and Spying International I came across the BassGirls - a publication meant for girls who play bass guitar..now comes the bit I was actually interested in - they had the results of their annual poll which included a section for best photograph. And all I can say is that if the one that one was the best they could do get a new photographer. Well really I ask you - mike stand growing out of her shoulder, badly composed and seriously burnt out highlights - but the bloody bass is in really sharp focus.
