Oh joy of joys - just back from Southampton, a journey spoiled only by the roads and the people on them. What fun it was spending six hours on the motorways of Britain, being held up because someone had to stop to read a giant flashing orange sign. Being mashalled around the services at Fleet only to find that there was nowhere to park unless I decided to reclassify myself as a coach. So much for take a break every two hours or so - how about get the roads working properly so that my journey doesn't take so long that I need a break.
Apart from that had quite an enjoyable time considering I'd just spent four hours in a metal box on wheels. Praise be that I don't have to drive myself down there again this week.
