Trivial Pursuits

I can't sleep at the moment because of a lack of answers to a number of very trivial but strangely compelling questions that are buzzing around in my head. To give you a taste:

1. What exactly is quicker by tube?
   
2. If you go to work on an egg what do you use to travel home in the evening?
3. Who drank the last Tango in Paris?
4. Do Germans really say "Vorsprung durch technik"?
5. Is there any real meaning in car adverts?

Well that'll do for now - perhaps I should lay off the cheese at bedtime.
