My mobile phone has gone wrong. Not that this is an excuse for not calling anyone, there are other reasons for that...
Anyway the saga is thus - phone goes wrong take it to Vodafone - get call after a week to get replacement (the original not being reparable apparently), get home with said piece of equipment which then proves to be faulty - turning itself on and off all night until it had completely drained the battery. In other words the replacement (not this is not necessarily new) is a total lemon. Not impressed so went back to Vodafone and am now waiting for another replacement...but don't have particularly high hopes of it being in any way better.
