The Lost Supper

There's a new idea out about Da Vinci's Last Supper. Someone has come up with the idea of superimposing a mirror image on the original and basically looking for the new things that this might reveal. In this case it's apparently a baby and a wine goblet. The person who has discovered these effects has made no claims about what they may mean.
This seems a very odd thing to do until you remember that Leonardo used mirror writing so seeing what happens if you reverse one of his paintings is clearly not that bizarre a notion.
I wonder if the same can be applied to some more modern art to see if it reveals either (a) an unknown work that is recognisable as art or (b) most modern 'art' is a cruel hoax played upon seriously gullible rich people. We shall see...
