Cold Calling

I don't like people who ring me up with the intention of selling something, especially that one where there's a recording that starts "Hi I'm Stacy, You could win a holiday in Disneyworld" and have therefore added both my home and mobile phones to the telephone preference service in order to opt out of telemarketing.
So you can imagine my delight when the mobile rings and it says it's a private number - So I answer as it could be my parents in some kind of trouble only to get told that it's Stephanie asking if I've ever heard of some kind of multi-global investment kombinat and that if I'd listen to some specially selected information on a unique opportunity she'd probably have an orgasm or two. So needless to say I told her that I wasn't interested in this because it was a sales call, "oh no", she says "this is only to give you information", I restated that I was not interested and then get told "You sound like an intelligent person who makes up his mind after listening to the facts", "Oh yes indeed" says I, adding the information that I'm not into splitting semantics with a telemarketing drone who's spoiling my evening, if I get another one of these calls I'm going to use ploy number 2 - I'm a bit busy right now and leave them talking into empty space for five minutes then say "I'm sorry I didn't quite catch that would you mind repeating that for me"
