Shaved Monkeys

Having just suffered another exasperating trip to Britain's favourite supermarket where the cashier was not only rude and offensive but threw the shopping about - "If you think you're having a bad day now, just wait till I report your attitude to the manager. Remember that we (indicates customers behind) pay your wages" - I have come to the only conclusion I can and that is that there is a maniac about in the Goodmayes area who is shaving monkeys and getting them jobs in the retail grocery industry. I would point out that someone suggested to me that the behaviour of the staff was the natural consequence of employing people with learning disabilities, however in my experience LD employees are generally happy and cheerful and enjoy their job and meeting people - even if they do sometimes try to collect your shopping basket before you've emptied it out onto the conveyor belt.
