Europhobia

I'm starting to get a bit paranoid when I go to do my shopping these days - mainly because it's rare to hear anyone talking in English in the big Tesco at Goodmayes and this is being heavily reinforced by them having an aisle filled with Polish delicacies such as Bigos and Kielbasa and what appear to be Central European gypsies begging by the cash machines and robbing the clothes out of the recycling bins. I'm just waiting for the day that the labels on everything are written in Latvian with a smaller label giving the English translation.
Now I'm all for better links with Europe and I wouldn't be complaining if we had an increase in Germans (really good lager and darkwave music) Italians (superb food) and French (unbelievably sexy women) folk around here (although not the Portuguese as I have nothing but dislike for dishes made from salt cod) , but regrettably all we seem to be getting is people who can't drive safely with Lithuanian number plates, drunk Poles arguing next to the butter and aggressive Romanian beggars.
