This Year

Not exactly the Blue Peter Review of the year - but then if you were me would you trust Mister Squeaky with a roll of sticky backed plastic? - I thought not. But anyway I've been pondering as you do when searching for inspiration on all sorts of things so now's a good time as any to look back over the last year.
The main thing is that I've discovered a whole load of new and (for me anyway) exciting bands, sadly though not many of them are from the UK. We have The Birthday Massacre (Canada), Gothminister (Norway), Deathstars (Sweden), Bloodflowerz (Germany) and Uninvited Guest (UK Hooray).
With work being as tiring as it has been and money being tight there haven't really been all that many opportunities for band photos - not that ther're been that many bands that I've wanted to photograph and the Ruskin website is often so confused that I'm not sure if there's anything going on down there anyway so it's easier to stay at home and listen to stuff that I like.
