The shops are all full of rather terrible christmas muzak as expected and there is the expectation that you should be full of seasonal joy. Why? All we have is people praying to the great god of credit and making enormous sacrifices on the altar of greed and for what purpose exactly. They then attempt to justify this by saying that it's better to give than to receive. Bollocks is it, if they want to get rid of their surplus income I'm more than happy to take it off their hands.
Additionally please could someone tell me where exactly in the bible it says something along the lines of "Go forth and buy pointless crap to cover the outside of your hovel" or "Blessed are the sellers of tinsel". Life is certainly sweet - black and white striped and mint flavoured if you know what I mean.
And now an appeal for information, what precisely are chocolate liqueurs "without cruelty" and in what way are the usual sort cruel?
