We have a new category for this year's Golden Squeakies - Best Cover Version. Now I'm not a great fan of cover bands per se - but I do really like it when you get a well known song done either really really badly (tATu's version of How soon is now) or so different it's supersmashinggreat (Queen Adreena's cover of Jolene) so some recognition really needs to be given to this.
So anyway as is traditional here are the nominations in no particular order
Genitorturers - I Touch Myself (Naughty song made even more so...)
Brian Manson (Or is it Marilyn Warner?) - Sweet Dreams (total crap used in car advert)
Incubus Sukkubus - Can't Get You Out of My Head (Kylie Goth - a new fashion!)
Nightwish - Walking in the Air (Cheesy crap Aled Jones Cover and why not?)
Other nominations will be accepted in exchange for large brown paper parcels stuffed with real money (and it has to be spendable in the UK too)
