Wait and See

Phoned up Reed Nurse today, just for the craic you understand, left message which was replied to by email, have to wait until next week for a human reply because the person I need to speak to wasn't there - mind you I've only been waiting for them to reach some kind of a decision for a fortnight. Small beer really as I've been waiting for 14 months now - this is just typical of the wave of "I don't care" that seems to be sweeping across the nation.
Is it me or are we turning into a nation of Woolworth's assistants (the ones you used on a saturday morning) who are more interested in chatting to each other about their meaningless lives as if it was in any way important rather than doing their job, and of course neglecting the minor fact that the customers are ultimately the people who pay their wages.
