Who ever thought that cute films starring animals was a good idea? Super dogs and wonderhorses, amazingly anthropomorphic projections of human emotions onto whales, dolphins and no doubt assorted other assorted sea creatures (Can't wait for Ollie the blue-ringed octopus )- mind you I wouldn't at all be surprised to discover that Little Hippy Mate thought that Free Willy was either a porn movie or an invitation...
Even worse though in my view are those dreadful Enid Blighton inspired television programmes that we were made to watch when I was but a lad - Skippy the bush kangaroo "What's that Skippy? The plane's gonna crash into Sydney Opera House!", that thing with the cross-eyed lion and oddly misplaced chimp. Just wait until some overpaid television producer comes up with the idea of a live action version of Animal Farm...What are the RSPCA doing about it?
