Nein Meine Herren und Damen, the blog has not been taken over by neo-nazis intending on throwing the enemies of the state into Konzentrationslager, although it is tempting to think of the current cabinet behind the wire, in KZ uniforms with distinctive red (political) and black (asocial) triangles. Stripes and a shaved head would so suit Tony and his cronies - and be a warning to other politicians to get their acts together. Even better would be to remind them that they have come so close to starting internment and protective custody, just like Himmler and Heydrich, with their proposed and now defeated anti-terrorism legislation, after all what would be next?
So the next time the polititians suggest draconian powers of arrest and imprisonment without a fair trial or any evidence, just suspicion, listen and you just might hear the cattle trucks rolling taking those the government fear on the bloody road to Sobibor.
What I'm actually getting at this evening is the power of slogans, we see them everywhere, some are incredibly seductive in their language and almost all have the power to change opinions. Hence their popularity with politicians. Some of them have now become iconic-think on these for a moment...

Because I'm worth it
Now how many of these have entered everyday life modified in some form or other? I know I use some of them quite often adapted to my own nefarious purposes...
