As hinted at yesterday I'm going digital - thanks to some good fortune and a sudden price crash I now have a digital SLR and it's not as difficult to get to grips with as I thought it might be - the things about the same size and weight as one of the trusty old OM-2's and has the same sort of feel so, the only difference is that it has a shutter priority mode which is something I've only used when I borrowed a Canon A-1. Anyway the savings in film alone will soon pay back for the camera itself- as I can shoot the equivalent of four rolls of film on one memory card (and get rid of the crap before printing) will soon recover some of the cost.
So now I'm stuck with the terrible problem of where to go off to and give the thing a good try out on Sunday to see how it compares to using film....makes a change to have a problem that I don't mind thinking about
