Prawns! Wonderful really, just been scoffing some of the wee beasties with a bit of pepper and vinegar and suddenly I'm transported to a pub circa 1987 end of evening, just before last orders and as if by magic the seafood seller appears - wicker basket full of ocean treats and white coat gleaming - a plate of cockles or crab sticks always with white pepper and vinegar would round the drinking off nicely. Now here's the thing - I haven't seen any of these chaps for years, similarly whatever happened to the Salvation Army paper sellers or any of those other pub features that we used to get? I'm also wondering if the seafood thing was a peculiarly east London thing.
So then to summarise - prawns good for stimulating memory - therefore must prevent Alzheimer's disease - well worth further research send your grant cheques to the usual address.
