What is the point of Jehovah's witlesses? I nipped home today to drop some stuff off before lunchtime and as soon as I'd put the kettle on there's a knock at the door and "Can I interest you in the word of God?" Normally I leave this sort of thing to Mister Squeaky (as he does so enjoy chasing them) but as he was snoozing on the curtain rail I thought it best to let sleeping bats hang and dealt with it myself. It was only later that I started thinking that perhaps I should have been a bit more insulting and deliberately offensive.
But anyway getting back to the point where, tell me, does it say in their holy book anything along the lines of "go forth and annoy people" or "Knocketh ye on doors at random"? Nowhere as far as I can tell so why do they do it, and more to the point why during the middle of the day unless of course they're hoping to convert striking postmen?
