Out of the Blue

Got a text message from the hippy ex-mate today all full of cheerfulness and enthusiasm. Therefore immediately suspect that this is because something is wanted, after all why else do you get in contact with someone after a long absence and go on about how wonderful life is? Anyway as a result of natural and completely well-founded cynicism did not reply to text for several hours, but did so politely - have not yet got reply and to be perfectly honest doubt I will, most surprising is the fact that I don't really care one way or the other.
