At last my inconsiderate neighbours have finished having their party (it's one thing having it in your flat -it's quite another when you take over the communal hallway as an extra room) and I can actually hear again.
Anyway I've just been listening to the usual varied crop of stuff and these are the thoughts of the Transylvanian Panel.
Eyes of Eden. Generic female fronted moth music (whoops that should read symphonic goth metal), contrived and frankly the vocals sound like a cross between Nell Siglund and Vibeke Stene without the conviction. One decent track on Faith and that's Star the rest is instantly forgettable.
Blutengel's latest offering, Labyrinth, is a completely different kettle of kippers, consistent and driven this picks up from where The Oxiding Angel finished. Highly recommended.
