Whatever happened to mobile phones that make a noise like a telephone? I have to admit to a certain amount of guilt on this myself - I have a phone that does not appear to be able to grasp the concept of making a normal noise so therefore it plays some Nephilim (Preacher Man if you must know) when it wants to let me know that someone is trying to get in touch and at least I have the decency to look embarrassed.
But there I am today in the middle of my NVQ paperwork level 4/5 when one of the other people gets a call which is heralded by some dreadful racket (apparently by someone called Lily Allen who Mister Squeaky tells me is a relation of Ray Allen of Lord Charles fame) with absolutely no shame whatsoever - disgraceful. For the record Mister Squeaky's batphone plays the theme from The Addams Family.
