Errata

There has been some concern voiced about the accuracy of the information contained within the Wikipedia especially because some naughty pranksters have deliberately put in a few of les herrings rouge to catch out the unwary, my own favourite being that "Robbie Williams earns his living by eating pet hamsters in pubs in and around Stoke", although as a close second is this tantalising morsel of footballing trivia "David Beckham was an 18th-century Chinese goalkeeper"
Needless to say this sort of beastly wickedness has no place in a serious publication and therefore after much swearing and burning of midnight candles the editorial team for Old Squeaky's Almanac and Booke of Ye Days have endeavoured to make sure that such mistakes have been fully eliminated from the latest version and it has been finally approved by the Editor in Chief and as proof of this here's the full text of a random entry.

Golden Syrup: A sweet sticky substance made in Africa from pressed lions and much prized as a delicacy by the Ur-ban people of the lower reaches of the Thames Delta who curiously have no teeth.
