All thanks to Uncle Bill and his super new improved internet excreta 7 (In the Bathouse we use Firefox) lunching the startup files on my 'puter I've spent the weekend installing a new hard drive and re-installing software, fortunately I've been able to retrieve my data files from the old drive.
So what lessons have we learned apart from the obvious "Back up the computer a bit more often" and "Mister Squeaky makes exceedingly bad cakes" (Just don't ask okay)?
Well nothing really apart from always make sure that you have a disk of really useful recovery utilities to hand and plenty of coffee. Oh and a collection of Roy Harper CD's
