Well having worked for one (Really Scary Circus) I can tell you that charity clearly does not begin at home, nor for that matter does it extend to the workplace. And they also don't bother to tell you exactly how much of the money that they get is absorbed by "operating costs" and "hosting corporate fundraising events" - most of which seem to turn into jollies for the staff. They then have the sheer temerity to charge members of their organisation for the information leaflets that they are going to hand out free to people who ask for the information. Sounds like someone somewhere is on the make - and you thought your donation was going to help the poor and needy instead of Bobo the really fucking insane clown, Lily Bolane and Christopher Cockroach. So just remember - the next time you're thinking of giving to a mental health charity -just make sure it's not one which is an acronym of Mental Illness Never Dies and is located in the London Borough of We're Frauds.
And my seasonal message to them all is unprintable
