Twin Terrors

Speculating as I do when sitting on the lavvy, I've just come to an amazing realisation - all truly terrible television of any genre relies on a double act. Consider the following list of shame (and this is just the tip of the iceberg):
Trinny & Susannah; Kim & Aggie; Ant & Dec; Dick & Dom; George & Mildred; Terry & June; Phil & Kirstie (I wasn't born I was knitted)
See what I mean, can you even imagine any of these televisual siamese twins separated, now can you? I bet they'd pine away if they didn't have their partners in crime with them.

Then think about the programmes that are truly great (in my opinion and that's what counts around here) and the thing is that they all have solo presenters: Kevin McCloud, Sarah Beeny, Nicholas Crane, Richard Holmes, Aubrey Manning, David Attenborough, Charlotte Uhlenbrook, ..the list goes on.
