Today's the Day....

...That we're all supposed to write a blog of what we did today so that future generations can gaze in awe at just how mundane our lives really were in the 21st century. I remember all the predictions of how the future was going to look from things like Tomorrow's World and magazines like "Speed and Power" back in the early 70's, now we're here it just looks like it did then except that cars (with the exception of the good old landrover - not sold bloke decided to keep his old one as it had cost him so much) no longer look like boxes on wheels and we don't have super efficient nuclear powered houses that look like something from Space 1999 and have hydroponic gardens. So somehow I just think that everyone will look back at now and say "Things haven't really changed that much"

Here's Mister Squeaky's day just for the record:
Slept in wardrobe until dark
Ate left overs from yesterday
Got horribly drunk on Lentil Vodka (Turnip Brandy being no longer available)
Went out and terrorised neighbourhood with drunken singing of "Like a Virgin"

Exciting isn't it?
