This is going to be a bit like Sainsbury's - Two for the price of one - server trouble yesterday so unable to post- so its double value today only.
Please could somebody let me know exactly what the criteria for the eye test for drivers is. I'm sure it involves being able to read the numbers on a number plate a certain distance away - therefore someone who has passed this test should be able to see a Land Rover Defender at close quarters and avoid pulling out in front of it on a roundabout. This is of course vexing the first time it happens, but this is now an event that I can expect at least twice a day - and not on the same roundabout either.
Now I'm the first to admit that I'm not the most perfect of drivers, but even I can see a vehicle that is larger than me and will do serious damage should it run into me (or over me in the case of a motor scooter) So why on earth do they persist in the belief that they are invulnerable. Me, I blame Jeremy Clarkson.
