There's nothing like a bit of high camp nonsense to revive flagging spirits - and thanks to the miracle of digital TV there it was, yes folks I've just spent the last couple of hours watching the semi final for the Eurovision song contest - and well worth sitting through most of the drivel it was too. The Dancing nubiles (Bulgaria) were quite good early on but maximum respect has to go to the Finnish Entry - which incidentally has won through to the final - Lordi - think Kiss, Think GWAR, think maximum high camp heavy metal with rubber monster constumes. Well that's my Saturday night sorted out - an evening's cheap entertainment with a frozen pizza, beer and Eurovision - and you don't have to apologise the next day either!
..and finally Lordi, being giant rubber creatures get the official Mister Squeaky Seal of Approval!
