Phone Sales

Still feeling exceptionally gloomy. This, in part, is due to having spent most of the day making sales-type calls to people in local authorities who are clearly bored and have heard it all a million times before. This is of course not improved by having my boss sitting on the other side of a desk staring at me. He just does not have a clue how offputting this is - and can't take the hint that things would be a whole lot smoother if 1. He'd go and do something else more useful and 2. he had a go at doing it himself to see just how frustrating it is. 3. He realised just how annoying it is for the people at the other end of the phone.
