Reflections

Well it's finally happened, seriously bizarre gift for birthday has arrived from Mister and Missus Pogle. Vampire Skull ornamental letter opener. Jolly tasteful too and gets the seal of approval from Mister Squeaky who rates it highly - they'd been on about getting something for weeks and I was strongly under the impression (wrongly, obviously) that it was alcohol related - after all by my calculations Mister Pogle has drunk approximately 31.753% of my scotch over the last fifteen years of so - and I was vaguely thinking that some of that might be repaid.

Anyway seriously pissed off about events at Ruskin last night - annoying girlies getting in way of photographer when shot carefully composed and finger on shutter, drummer wanting to be photographed and then hiding away behind drum kit (how inconsiderate can you get!), Number 2 camera deciding to have one of those moments and finally sound f*ck up for Avoidance of Doubt (set lasted approximately three minutes) Not impressed at all, Oh and I forgot the annoying girlies vomiting whilst exceptionally drunk and then falling over in their own vomit slick. Just hope I've got a few good shots of AOD 'cause their frontman has a seriously amazing image and stage presence.
