Scratch 'n Sniff

As always I must remind you all that this is not an invitation. Please don't. It's not big and it's not clever and you'll probably make someone deeply disturbed if you do in public.

So what's it all about really, well in my really dull daily life I have the joy of reading a whole load of crap from the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI for short) who are the arbiters of doom in the social care trade. Now one of the things they are exceptionally bothered about at the moment (their inspectors each have several hives of bees under their official bonnets) is that all documentation must be in a format that is readily understandable to the customers , whoops sorry "service users" , and they now want pictorial menus for people with learning disabilities, rather than rely on the old method of just asking them what they want for dinner - followed by three hours of sulky tantrum when you tell them that they can't have burger and chips for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the week. We can now show them a picture and then presumably be given a drawing of someone having a sulk in return.

As a slight aside I've had to search the interweb for food related clipart - so far so good, but please tell me where on earth I can find a suitable representation of a Bernard Matthew's Turkey vomburger ("It's Bootiful" i.e. tastes like a Wellington boot but with half the nutritional value) and to my suprise I discovered a website full of drawings of meat - now who on earth would spend their time drawing various forms of meat - and no I really really do not want to know.

Meanwhile back to the plot, had discussion with the boss about this business and decided that we should go that extra step and try to produce a scratch 'n sniff menu. Now to find something that smells like the aforementioned vomburger...
