Once again contacted CRB as now seven weeks+ have passed. Informed by them that they were waiting for a police report - however they did have a dedicated team who were in contact with the police when there were delays, why then can't they be in contact with the police for me?
I was also told that if I wished to complain they could acknowledge a complaint letter within two days - again if they can be so responsive to a complaint why can't they be as responsive to an application.
As you can imagine I have now had more than enough of their intransigence. Will keep you informed of events.
